Hello idlers ! It’s been since december that you didn’t have any news about Idle Story, have you believed that the project was cancelled ? :D

Today, a new major version of Idle Story is here, it’s still in alpha, but you will see a lot of new things. The game has significantly changed, graphics, mechanics, gameplay and other systems.

It’s the last stage of development of the game, of course, I will add content over the long term (Quests, items, and even more, but only after the game release !

Why a new version is released, but not final version ? I wanted to show you a new advanced version of this game, and get some feedback.

When will the final game be released ? The version that you see here is not final, but it’s near the final stage of the developpement, I have some systems to finish (Quest system, Shop system, Leveling System), and more gameplay to add. You have to know that I’m developing this game with a Trello page for support, so, functionalities to add are planned and all will be released in time.

In what platform the game will be published ? I’m not at this moment yet, but I want the game to be on Itch.io, Gamejolt, and Microsoft Store (For automatics updates), I can add other platforms (like steam) if I have the money, but I’m still a student, so I can’t work for the moment, and I don’t have credit card ! :D

** There is no musics, why ?** I don’t know how to compose musics. It’s very simple :) In the next version, you will have musics and sounds, but these will not be created by me.

Will the game be paid ? No, it will be free, but if you want to help the development, you can donate a small amount. I want players that like my game, not money :)

It’s more easy to download the game, now you just have to download the game setup, double click, follow instructions and that’s it !

I hope you will like this new version, I’ve worked hard ! (And learned a lot of things !)
